Sep 11, 2020 · LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- Nevada's unemployment agency announced today that the state’s application for the Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) Grant Program has been approved. Unemployment insurance is a joint state-federal program that provides cash benefits to eligible workers. Each state administers a separate unemployment insurance program, but all states follow the same guidelines established by federal law.
