Merced County Fair officials announced Tuesday that the 2020 event has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair was set to take place from June 10 to June 14, but the Merced County Board of Directors and fair CEO Teresa Burrola held an emergency meeting on Monday and decided to cancel the event.
